Khatt Village is just south of the city of Ras Al Khaimah and is Emirate-known for its hot springs and thermal pools. The springs are set in a peaceful valley at the foot of the Jebel Jais mountains and surrounded by archaeological sites and 19th-century mud-brick forts. The little village is known to have been occupied for over 5,000 years dating back to the Ubaid period. Locals have used the warm waters of the natural springs for centuries for their healing and therapeutic qualities.
