Al Jazirah Aviation Club based on the outskirts of Al Hamra, is the first of its kind in the Emirate. Running for almost a quarter of a century, the club has certified hundreds of students. If you’ve never tried flying a small plane, then add it to your bucket list. As soon as you take off, you’ll head over the terracotta dunes that are synonymous with Ras Al Khaimah. Imagine seeing the various landscapes, the Arabian Gulf, islands, flamingo-filled mangroves, bustling ports, and the spectacular towering Jebel Jais mountain peak from the sky.

Explore Ras Al Khaimah with a birds-eye view. Watch for caravans of camels or herds of wild oryx in the desert; shipwrecks, turtles, rays and reef sharks in the shallow turquoise waters, or fishermen busy with their latest catch in the villages that dot the coastline.

Al Jazirah Aviation Club has a comprehensive range of aircraft that you can learn to fly from microlights, gyrocopters, powered parachutes to paramotors; the choice is yours. The school offers flight training, pilot conversion from other aviation bodies and introductory flights. They have fully serviced hangar facilities on-site, so you can store and fly your own plane at any time.
