Himalayan Wellness Grotto

The Himalayan Wellness Grotto is a unique salt cave that balances the positive charges in your body. Salt therapy binds excessive positive ions in the air with the negative ions found in Himalayan salt. The salt cave is the ideal space for quiet meditation, yoga or a hot stone massage using Himalayan salt crystals to detoxify and cleanse the body and eliminate negative energy. Himalayan salt therapies relieve allergies, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), laryngitis, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions. Salt therapy can also improve your general health by strengthening your immune system and reducing inflammation. The hammam is a steam room used for traditional cleansing and purifying rituals using deep-cleansing black soap, also known as a Turkish hammam or Turkish bath. Your tellak, or hammam attendant, will douse you with warm water and then apply traditional black soap made from crushed olives and olive oil infused with eucalyptus and exfoliate your skin with a kessa glove.
