RAK Natures Treasures allows you to find your inner peace in a sanctuary surrounded by nature. The natural history museum is a private collection of over 2,500 perfectly preserved gemstones, fossils, seashells, preserved insects and bugs, taxidermy animals and birds and herbs and spices from all over the world. The museum is also home to a salt room, cactus garden, reptile room, fish ponds, veggie farming, greenhouse, turtle pond, flamingo wetland, a petting zoo and miniature goat playground.

If your kids want to make friends with a horse, donkey, emu, pigeon, chicken, native sheep, peacock, flamingo, or turtle, you can head to the peace and the inner sanctum of RAK Natures Treasures. The private natural history museum houses an impressive collection of gemstones, fossils and seashells, perfectly preserved insects and bugs, taxidermy animals and birds, and fragrant spices from various continents. You’ll also find hundreds of pigeons enjoying life in their dovecote. There is a natural salt cave, so you can retreat from the madding crowds and busy city life and relax in the softly lit cave as you meditate your stresses away. Halotherapy has been used since the 1800s and is thought to be beneficial for various lung problems, skin conditions and allergies.

The proprietors grow fresh veggies in the lush green pastures, such as corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and bottle gourds. The farm is a homestay, so you can spend a few days in nature and enjoy some rural living. You’ll be surrounded by nature with no sounds other than the native animals and visiting birds. All their animals are friendly and love attention. Stay in simple back-to-nature wooden huts and enjoy peaceful nights under the stars.

Open Wednesday to Monday 08.00 to 20.00.
