Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority

In cooperation with Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, RAKTA facilitates easy access to and from Dubai Union Bus Station. The buses leave Ras Al Khaimah as early as 5.30 am to reach Dubai, with the last bus departing at 8 pm. There are 12-daily shuttle buses thereafter, from 7 am on the hour. The service from Dubai starts at 7.30 am and finishes at 11 pm. Every single journey is AED 27. Other public service buses connect visitors to Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for as little as AED 15. All of the journeys are bookable online.

Once in Ras Al Khaimah, you can utilise the various emirate’s city buses, including the red route service, which is ideal for visitors. The city shuttle runs between Al Nakheel, Manar Mall, RAK Mall, Corniche Al-Qawasim and Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Flamingo Beach, Union Bridge, Al Hamra Bus Station, Mina Al Arab, Emirates Post and Al Hamra Mall, RAKEZ, Acacia Hotel and the church.

The purple route takes you between the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Ras Al Khaimah College of Dental Sciences, Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Services University and Manar Mall. The green route is ideally suited to local residents who want to access key destinations across the city, including the Ministry of Environment, Julphar Pharmaceutical, the New Institute of Applied Science, Saqr Park and Digdaga. Likewise, the blue route accommodates those who want to travel to the Julphar, Shemal, Al Rams, Saqr Port and Ghalila areas.
