Ras Al Khaimah boasts diverse landscapes from white sandy beaches, jagged mountain ranges, mangroves and verdant parks for you and your family to enjoy!

Saqr Park

Saqr Park is an expansive community parkland in Ras Al Khaimah. His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi inaugurated the park in 1991 to connect neighbourhoods and people. It is open all year round and boasts many activities for families and friends. Under the design of His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, an artificial lake is home to waterfalls and hugely enjoyable rentable pedal boats. Saqr Park is ideal for family picnics and barbeques in dedicated areas. The park is a lovely place for a picnic or a barbeque. You can seek shade under the trees and spend hours of fun-filled time with your family or friends. The park is serenely beautiful, and there are plenty of trails for the kids to explore, play hide and seek or enjoy the children’s play area, merry-go-round, carousel, splash ride, rollercoaster, bumper cars, the Ferris wheel or the arcade. Benches and cabanas are dotted throughout the park, with various delicious pop-up food stalls and kiosks.

Pawsome Park

Operated by Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre, Pawsome Park is a pet-friendly environment where you can have playdates with other well-behaved doggies! The Instagrammable park is the first outdoor dog park in the United Arab Emirates, so you can take your dog to walk, play, swim and fetch. Each dog will have a behavioural assessment before entering the park to ensure they play well with other animals and humans. The agility park encourages exercise and mental stimulation, and you can even have a canine birthday party to celebrate another year with your beloved pooch. Pawsome Park has a dedicated area for small dogs under 10 kilogrammes. If you don’t have a dog (or cat), RAKAWC has many rescued animals that would love a home and a play in the park!

Jais Viewing Deck Park

Explore some of the region’s most spectacular scenery and travel through the desert, moon-like scapes and barren rocky wadis to 1,250 metres above sea level to the heart of the Jebel Jais mountains. The formidable range was formed over 70 million years ago and holds endless secrets and magic. Just shy of the Jebel Jais summit lies the Jais Viewing Deck Park, which affords breathtaking views across more of the Hajar mountain range, small shepherd villages and the Arabian Gulf. The park features seven viewing decks with 12 powerful binoculars that command unparalleled panoramas. Not only will you appreciate the views, but you can also watch adrenaline-fuelled guests facing their fears and flying the longest zipline in the world, Jais Flight. Puro Express and Muse Café at the Jais Viewing Deck Park serve delicious coffees and snacks throughout the day.
