The Final Countdown
Immerse yourself in the color, lights and music as you ring in 2026. Last year, a 13-minute feast for the eyes brought the story of the UAE to life via state-of-the-art technology, with 1,400 drones used to create falcons, palms and seashells, smashing two world records for aerial displays.
The sky was then set alight with a majestic fireworks display set to rousing music. It was the perfect beginning to 2025, and with the show getting better and better each year, RAK New Year 2026 fireworks promise even more.
Best Places to Watch RAK NYE 2026
The main fireworks and drone display will illuminate the waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village. Heading to Al Marjan Island will offer front-row views, as will any location on the waterfront. The Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah and Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort will both be at the heart of the action, for example.
The festival grounds (see below) will also provide fantastic views of the displays.
The Festival
Ras Al Khaimah New Year Festival is a free, day-long event in the festival grounds, located just by Marjan Island. The exact location will be revealed soon. Expect live DJs and other popular artists to see out 2025 and ring in 2026.
The event is suitable for the whole family with kids’ areas, barbecues, and easy parking. Camping, caravan and RV access make it easy to relax into the festival vibes and make a night of it. You’ll just need to preregister your vehicle.

The midnight fireworks display is the highlight, but it will also be accompanied by plenty of other entertainment, including more fireworks displays, especially in the Ras Al Khaimah city center.
