The 2023 Ras Al Khaimah New Year festivities set the bar high, garnering two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles: the longest chain of aquatic floating fireworks and the longest straight-line drone display. However, the emirate is pulling out all the stops to host an exciting and memorable event to end 2024 right.
The Ras Al Khaimah New Year fireworks show this 2024 will feature a stunning combination of vibrant colors, captivating lights, and state-of-the-art laser drone technology. The first fireworks show will happen at 8 pm in Ras Al Khaimah City Center to kick off the New Year’s Eve festivities.
The Ras Al Khaimah NYE Festival is free and open to the public. Residents and visitors can watch the spectacular fireworks display across the waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy as you wait for the main event. The daylong festival offers several entertainment and dining options, including a live DJ, kids’ activities, and food trucks, to keep everyone engaged and excited until the clock strikes midnight. There are also designated sections for families and bachelors to ensure everyone is comfortable and can enjoy all the festivities.

Camp Under the Stars
Camping is one of the best outdoor activities in Ras Al Khaimah. Enjoy the great outdoors while waiting for the New Year’s fireworks by reserving your camping spot at the Rams Parking zone.
The Rams Parking zone is located next to the Ras Al Khaimah NYE Festival site. It has BBQ and camping facilities and offers fantastic views of the fireworks display, which means you can watch the show outside your tent.
If you’re taking a caravan or RV, you can park at the Dhaya Parking zone for quick access to the festival site. It’s also another great spot to watch the fireworks and drone shows.
Parking in the Dhaya and Rams zones is on a first-come, first-served basis, so remember to arrive early if you choose to stay here. All roads will be closed by 11 pm, so do come early.
Everyone arriving at Dhaya and Rams with a vehicle should also pre-register at their chosen parking site to obtain a QR code. This will be done to streamline traffic and prevent congestion in the area and nearby places.
Ras Al Khaimah will launch a website for the Ras Al Khaima NYE Festival, which will include the parking registration portal, so stay tuned.
