Introductory Flight

Jazirah Aviation Clubโ€™s most exciting offer is its introductory flight, an experience that lets you soar into the skies to see spectacular views of Ras Al Khaimahโ€™s beautiful landscapes.

On this flight, a trained pilot will guide you as you navigate the skies. They will ensure you have a safe and unforgettable experience throughout your flight.

You can opt for a fixed-wing aircraft, an aircraft with wings that do not move while generating lift for this flight. This type of airplane is known for its stability and aerodynamic efficiency. It’s suitable for long flights at high speeds and is user-friendly, which is why itโ€™s a great choice for first-time aviators.

You can also enjoy this experience via a gyrocopter or autogyro, a small aircraft that combines the characteristics of an airplane and a helicopter. While on the helicopter tour, you wonโ€™t feel any turbulence. Youโ€™ll fly low, so youโ€™ll have a safe flight while enjoying the panoramic views of the landscape below, and take as many photos as you want.

These introductory flights come in these durations and prices:

  • 20 minutes (AED 500)
  • 30 minutes (AED 625)
  • 45 minutes (AED 875)
  • 60 minutes (AED 1,000)

These options make it easy to choose one that suits your budget and level of comfort.

The Jazirah Aviation Club is located in Aero Club St., Al Jazeera Al Hamra Industrial, Ras Al Khaimah.

Aerial Tours Like No Other

During your flying experience, youโ€™ll see lots of incredible views, including the following:

Jebel Jais

Jebel Jais, the United Arab Emirates’ highest peak, is one of the most picturesque landscapes in Ras Al Khaimah. The mountain boasts towering peaks and rugged cliffs, making it a top destination for outdoor adventures and extreme sports.

In addition to the scenic landscape, youโ€™ll see native trees, other foliage, mountain foxes, goats, and other animals as you fly over the mountain range. You can get great views of ancient rock carvings and archeological remains of old settlements.

Youโ€™ll also get glimpses of the Jais Flight and Jais Sky Tour facilities, Camp 1770, and 1484 by Puro, the UAEโ€™s highest restaurant.

Al Wadi Desert

The Al Wadi Desert covers miles of golden-red sand that showcases raw beauty you wonโ€™t find anywhere else.

When youโ€™re over the desert at sunrise, youโ€™ll have amazing views of the dunes bathed in different hues of pink and gold. By afternoon, youโ€™ll be in awe of the dramatic scene that features sharp ridgelines casting long shadows across the terrain.

From the sky, youโ€™ll also see fascinating pockets of life scattered throughout the desert. These include ghaf trees, desert foxes, camels, and oryxes. Youโ€™ll catch sight of the Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert and Al Wadi Equestrian Center.

Arabian Gulf

Ras Al Khaimah is teeming with beautiful beaches, and you can get the best views of these famous attractions from the air.

Be awed by the white sands and turquoise waters. Youโ€™ll also see bustling ports, fishing and pearl farming spots, shipwrecks, and a variety of marine animals that include manta rays, reef sharks, and turtles in the shallow waters.

You can also get panoramic views of Ras Al Khamahโ€™s mangroves and the birds that live here, such as flamingos, cormorants, and western reef herons.
