Ras Al Khaimah serves as the adventure hub of the United Arab Emirates. Come here for the Jais Sky Tour, a two-hour seven-platform, six-zipline tour of the craggy Hajar mountains.

You can also zoom past deep canyons and ravines at 120 to 160 kilometers per hour for nearly three minutes on the world’s longest zipline, Jais Flight. How about learning some essential mountain and desert survival skills at Bear Grylls Explorers Camp?

After a whole day of adventures in the mountains, relax, drink in hand, at one of the bars in Ras Al Khaimah. Ras Al Khaimah nightlife offers effervescent experiences, ample variety from sky bars to beach bars and everything in between, and excellent relaxation and lounging options after a long day of adventure.

Here are seven bars that encapsulate the universal appeal of the nightlife in Ras Al Khaimah.

1. NEO Sky Bar

Location: Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island

After a whole day climbing to a height of at least 1,600 meters above sea level, trekking narrow ridges, and ziplining seated or pronated through canyons and the rugged mountain moonscapes, climb to the rooftop of Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island to enjoy Mediterranean bites at NEO Sky Bar.

The first-ever rooftop bar in Ras Al Khaimah, NEO Sky Bar offers 360-degree panoramas of the sea and unobstructed views of the star-studded skies. Enjoy wines, cocktails, and spirits with tapas and other suitable Mediterranean snacks.

NEO Sky Bar hosts many events, such as NEO Sundowner Soirées, NEO Bites Tuesdays, and Ladies Night, with its buy one get two free beverage packages from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. every Thursday.

2. Zuma (Pop-Up)

Location: The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi

If you’re up for a Japanese izakaya experience, head to The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. This luxury desert hotel is home to a Zuma pop-up that serves cocktails and refreshingly light Japanese bites and bar snacks.

Order an ozaka spritz (strawberry and basil-infused aperol with grapefruit bitter tonic water and prosecco) or a rubabu (Ketel One vodka with rhubarb sake and passion fruit). Pair with some spicy hamachi or rock shrimp with a wasabi and chili dip.

Hungry? Zuma is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Ras Al Khaimah and has an extensive array of nigiri sushis, sashimis, maki rolls, salads, tempuras, robata (grilled dishes), and Japanese desserts. You can even get the seasonal daikoku tasting menu.

How about the signature baikingu brunch? This one comes with free-flowing wine and Champagne, live sushi and robata stations, and an assortment of hot and cold dishes.

3. RBG Bar

RBG

Location: Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Marjan Island

RBG Bar is a retro-themed sports bar with indoor and outdoor seating areas, games, and sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf. It’s a British pub and a good place to spend time with friends, playing pool, watching football, or simply shooting the breeze over some snacks, draft beers, bottled beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails.

4. Karma Kafé
Karma Kafe RAK

Location: Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island

Located at the Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island, Karma Kafé is a Pan-Asian restaurant and lounge by Buddha-Bar. Inside, the oriental theme and colors make a bold statement. The walls are inspired by traditional Chinese paintings, a room partition looks like a giant abacus, and a sculpture resembling Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s terracotta soldiers stands to one side.

Karma Kafé serves Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean cuisine. Aside from the fresh and delectable food, there’s lively music, too. You’ll love the cocktails—stunning to look at and lovely on the palate—courtesy of Buddha-Bar.

Karma Kafé regularly hosts Ladies Nights. Ladies can enjoy a four-course meal, complimentary drinks, and a curated Ladies Night menu. Female guests may also get complimentary drinks plus a discounted rate on the regular menu.

5. CLAW BBQ

If you’re looking for classic American diner and bar vibes, come to CLAW BBQ. It’s the hospitality, spirit, and delicious cuisine of the American South transplanted to Ras al Khaimah’s Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island.

Come here for American bar staples: ribs, fried chicken, BBQ, burgers, and tacos. If you’re in the mood for steaks, they have filet mignon, ribeye, New York strip, and lamb chops. The ultimate crowd favorite, however, is the seafood buckets of king crabs, shellfish (mussels, clams, shrimp), and snow crabs served with grilled corn, new potatoes, and drawn butter. They’re the perfect accompaniment to CLAW BBQ’s draft beers, bottled beers, margaritas, daiquiris, shots, and other mixed drinks.

6. Lexington Grill & Bar
Lexington Grill & Bar

Location: Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

Waldorf Astoria is a luxury hotel chain based in New York. Surround yourself with the brand’s polished city chic at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah and its New York-style steakhouse, Lexington Grill & Bar.

This is the place to go for dry-aged steaks and world-class wines, including the world’s finest blends and vintages. Dine in an opulent setting against an impressive backdrop of a floor-to-ceiling wine cellar and refrigerated glass display cases showcasing aging steaks. Live music permeates the dining room while mixologists showcase their skills at the bar.

You can sit indoors if you want, but Lexington Grill & Bar has an outdoor terrace with a view of the sea. There are also private dining rooms if you wish to dine in seclusion and a separate cigar room for those who wish to indulge.

7. Veritas

Location: Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort

No Ras Al Khaimah nightlife tour would be complete without a visit to Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort’s Veritas. Veritas evokes a Prohibition speakeasy, as it is hidden behind a fancy bookshelf door. Inside, it exudes European sophistication. The space is quiet, cozy, and warmly lit, inspired by Roman, Parisian, and Spanish wine bars.

Come here for some quiet time. Choose from its curated wine list or have the bar’s resident mixologist make you a delicious drink.
