The 2022 FIFA World Cup is slated to be the 22nd international competition. The quadrennial international men’s football championship challenges senior national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The competition will take place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December; it is the first world cup ever held in the Arab world. Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority anticipates the FIFA World Cup as the most anticipated sporting event of the year. Hotels and bars across the emirate are already gearing up to showcase each match on large screens.
