Orient Restaurant is located on a 1.5-kilometer stretch of private beach in Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah. From the al fresco dining area, guests enjoy unimpeded views of the gorgeous Arabian Gulf sunset while savoring the iftar menu.
Friends and families get to share a full table of Turkish food for sharing, including mezze, salads (ezine & domates, zaatar & patlican), and hot appetizers (kibbeh & samosa, kavurmali pide). Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island offers a souk-style setting for its massive, open-air iftar. Dining tables and buffet stations line the corniche, providing guests with tantalizing sunset views as they await iftar. As night falls, the bright lanterns transform the boulevard into something magical.
The buffet offers Ramadan favorites, such as ouzi and lamb tagine, Moroccan classics, and Arabic specialties. Mezze, soups, salads, and international options are all available, with an eight-day rotating menu to ensure guests can come multiple nights and still have something new to try.
There are sweets and pastries, including those that are traditionally served during Ramadan, and a dedicated bar serving Ramadan specialty beverages.

Longbeach Campground, known for glamping experiences, holds its iftar buffet on its 300-meter private beach. It offers a variety of international and local dishes, including traditional Ramadan food. Live cooking and BBQ stations dot the length of the beach. There is also a dedicated dessert station.
Mountain
Jebel Jais, the tallest peak in the UAE, remains open during Ramadan. Guests can spend one whole day in the mountains, enjoying the cool mountain air and unique Ras Al Khaimah moonscape views. Then they can make their way to their restaurant of choice for iftar.
Sunset views from the mountains are extraordinary. The sun seems to hang precariously over Ras Al Khaimah, as its rays bounce off the waters of the Gulf and add to the experience.
Iftar opens with the traditional fare of milk and dates. This is followed by authentic Harira soup and starters (e.g., garlic bread, Korean chicken wings, smoked tomato salad, and broccolini cashew salad).
The options for main courses include whole grilled baby chicken tandoori, grilled wagyu flank steak, and roasted butternut squash. The main course is served with a side of French fries and mac and cheese. Desserts follow: a choice of hazelnut milk chocolate cookies or roasted pineapple.
Red Rock BBQ is an open-air dining destination in Jebel Jais’ Wadi Shehah district. Chefs cook on open fires, while guest seating is arranged along the ridge overlooking the rugged mountainscapes of Ras Al Khaimah.
1484 by Puro, located at the Jebel Jais Welcome Center in Wadi Shehah, is 1,484 meters above sea level (thus the name). It is the highest restaurant in the UAE.
This beautiful restaurant has no set iftar menu, but it remains operational during Ramadan. It is open from Tuesdays to Sundays; it’s closed on Mondays. Operating hours start at 9 a.m. (except Tuesday, when it opens later at 2 p.m.) and end at 9 p.m.
Reservations are required. Guests can call or email at least 48 hours in advance to reserve their seats for 5:30 p.m. on their preferred date. This way, they can be there just in time for iftar and the spectacular sunset.
Desert
An iftar in the desert is a celebration of the UAE’s rich nomadic heritage, and the sight of a progressively crimson sun inching towards the terracotta dunes is spectacular. Also, without the glare of city lights, the stars shine even more brightly and strikingly in the desert night sky.
7. Iftar at Kaheela, The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

8. Iftar at Kan Zaman, The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert
Dates: Fridays and Saturdays during Ramadan (19 February to 18 March 2026)
Iftar at Kan Zaman takes the sunset in the desert experience up a whole new level. The sun paints the landscape a fiery crimson shade at sunset. At night, lanterns illuminate the dunes. Guests dine on tables set outside (in the desert) beneath the cover of millions of stars and accompanied by the soothing music of live oud performances.
Kan Zaman is a seasonal desert restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. The iftar buffet features Arabic and Levantine cuisine, live cooking stations, and traditional Ramadan beverages.
Other Settings
The sea, the desert, and the mountains offer wonderful views. However, other iftar settings can be just as beautiful, set up with tents, lights, traditional Arabic music, and an impressive spread of food options.
Qasr Al Bahar at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is known for its Green Ramadan initiative. Its iftar spread, which includes traditional Ramadan favorites served in a refined and elegant setting, is mindfully prepared and made using responsibly sourced ingredients.
