Orient Restaurant is located on a 1.5-kilometer stretch of private beach in Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah. From the al fresco dining area, guests enjoy unimpeded views of the gorgeous Arabian Gulf sunset while savoring the iftar menu.

Longbeach Campground, known for glamping experiences, holds its iftar buffet on its 300-meter private beach. It offers a variety of international and local dishes, including traditional Ramadan food. Live cooking and BBQ stations dot the length of the beach. There is also a dedicated dessert station.
Jebel Jais, the tallest peak in the UAE, remains open during Ramadan. Guests can spend one whole day in the mountains, enjoying the cool mountain air and unique Ras Al Khaimah moonscape views. Then they can make their way to their restaurant of choice for iftar.

Iftar opens with the traditional fare of milk and dates. This is followed by authentic Harira soup and starters (e.g., garlic bread, Korean chicken wings, smoked tomato salad, and broccolini cashew salad).
The options for main courses include whole grilled baby chicken tandoori, grilled wagyu flank steak, and roasted butternut squash. The main course is served with a side of French fries and mac and cheese. Desserts follow: a choice of hazelnut milk chocolate cookies or roasted pineapple.
Red Rock BBQ is an open-air dining destination in Jebel Jais’ Wadi Shehah district. Chefs cook on open fires, while guest seating is arranged along the ridge overlooking the rugged mountainscapes of Ras Al Khaimah.

1484 by Puro, located at the Jebel Jais Welcome Center in Wadi Shehah, is 1,484 meters above sea level (thus the name). It is the highest restaurant in the UAE.
This beautiful restaurant has no set iftar menu, but it remains operational during Ramadan. It is open from Tuesdays to Sundays; it’s closed on Mondays. Operating hours start at 9 a.m. (except Tuesday, when it opens later at 2 p.m.) and end at 9 p.m.
Reservations are required. Guests can call or email at least 48 hours in advance to reserve their seats for 5:30 p.m. on their preferred date. This way, they can be there just in time for iftar and the spectacular sunset.
An iftar in the desert is a celebration of the UAE’s rich nomadic heritage, and the sight of a progressively crimson sun inching towards the terracotta dunes is spectacular. Also, without the glare of city lights, the stars shine even more brightly and strikingly in the desert night sky.

Billed as Desert Nights of Togetherness, iftar at Kaheela is a special Ramadan offer by The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. The resort is located inside the protected Al Wadi Nature Reserve.
